In Memoriam

The Upstart Family is extremely sad to announce the passing of one of its most cherished members.  Thomas D. McCord (Tom) left us yesterday, April 23^rd, 2012, while “on-the-job” at the Jupiter Island Club in Hobe Sound, Florida, from an apparent heart attack. 

Tom’s life revolved around the Golfing Industry, from the time he graduated Ohio State’s Agricultural Technical Institute to the many Golf and Country Clubs he visits on a daily basis, providing his expertise, for Upstart Products.

Our deepest condolences to his family, and to all who will miss him.  We will miss his visits to our office.  He always brightened our day with his enormous smile and gentle spirit.  

May He Rest In Peace.

ON THAT NOTE...

Although we are still feeling Tom's loss, we know that life must go on - and that includes the business side of Tom's life.  He had/has many devoted customers who counted on his weekly trips to their Club, to discuss the products he felt would benefit their particular club, and to place their orders.  Upstart must now meet the needs of those loyal Clubs by finding a replacement to fill Tom's shoes.  If you are interested, or if you know somebody who would be interested in this wonderful opportunity, please call Upstart and ask for Ted, or email your resume to him - tedowen@upstartproducts.com.
